The Vegan Rasta talks ‘Ott Sauce…
I grew up in the North Peckham Estate…..
I know every inch of Peckham and it's home. I've been a cook since about seven.
I think you have to when you grow up in a Caribbean household.
By 11, I was cooking the whole Christmas dinner, and I loved it.
I'm a Rastafarian and within Rastafarian teachings, there is a saying: 'Eat not flesh’.
Long before it was called vegan, we called it Ital - food that is natural and pure.
That's what The Vegan Rasta is all about - vital vegan products for the good of your inner and outer being.
This ‘Ott Sauce represents a combination of my Rastafarian culture,
my Jamaican family heritage and my London identity.
